GREEN TEA
Green tea is an unfermented tea and one of the most widely enjoyed tea types. Its processing is relatively simple, mainly involving pan-firing (to stop oxidation), shaping, and drying. Because there is no fermentation stage, green tea preserves much of the leaf’s natural flavor.
Its characteristics are clear and easy to recognize. The dry leaves are usually bright green or yellow-green. After brewing, the liquor is light and clear. The taste is fresh and refreshing, with a gentle sweetness and subtle notes of bean or chestnut. The body is light rather than heavy, and the tea has a naturally cooling character, making it especially suitable for warm weather.
Green tea is easy to approach and not difficult for beginners. It works well for everyday drinking, whether at the office or at home, offering a clean and lively expression of the tea itself.
