BLACK TEA

Black tea is a fully oxidized tea. Its core process is oxidation, which takes place after withering, rolling, fermenting (oxidizing), and drying. During this process, the tea’s natural compounds are fully transformed, creating the well-known characteristic of “red liquor and red leaves.”

The dry leaves are reddish-brown. After brewing, the liquor is deep red and bright. The taste is smooth, warm, and naturally sweet, often showing notes of honey or sweet potato. It is generally low in bitterness and has a gentle nature. Black tea is also very versatile — it can be enjoyed on its own or blended with milk or honey.

Well suited for cooler seasons, black tea is comforting and easy to drink. Because of its mild character and broad appeal, it is one of the most widely enjoyed tea types in the world.
