This 2015 Fuding Shou Mei mini-cake embodies the quiet transformation of time. Crafted in spring and sun-dried according to traditional white-tea processing, it has since rested for a decade, slowly developing honey-like sweetness, soft jujube fragrance, and gentle herbal depth.

The liquor is light amber-gold, smooth and round with a mellow body. Early infusions reveal delicate honey and dried fruit notes; the later steeps bring out warming woody and herbal layers, leaving a clean, lasting sweetness in the throat. Compared with fresh Shou Mei, aged leaves are noticeably more silky, warm, and comforting, with reduced sharpness and elevated complexity.
