Crafted by renowned Liu Bao artisan Yi Yanhua, this 2018 Liu Bao presents a warm and nostalgic character reminiscent of glutinous rice and soft floral notes. The dark leaves unfurl slowly when brewed, releasing a clear reddish-brown liquor with a round, mellow body and subtle sweetness.

As it ages, this tea has the potential to develop “golden flowers” (Eurotium cristatum) — a prized microbial bloom associated with smoother flavor evolution and traditional wellness benefits such as digestion support and balancing heaviness in food. With each infusion, the tea reveals mild herbal creaminess, clean sweetness, and calming warmth that wraps softly around the palate.
