Description

Mu Dan Wang represents the pinnacle of White Peony. Compared with standard Bai Mudan (typically one-bud–two-leaf with lighter hair), the King Grade features thicker buds, abundant silver hairs, narrow tender leaves, and a more concentrated aroma profile.

After four years of mellow aging, its fragrance has deepened from fresh floral into honeyed orchid with soft creamy undertones, while the tea soup has become fuller and rounder. The liquor appears light golden with a gentle glow, smooth as silk on the palate.

The taste begins clean and sweet, then expands into a nectar-like mouthfeel — rich yet delicate, without bitterness or astringency. Honeyed notes linger gently at the throat, leaving a cooling sensation as you breathe, with a soft floral perfume resting in the cup.

This tea stands at the bridge between White Peony’s sweetness and Silver Needle’s fine hair fragrance — approachable, elegant, and deeply satisfying.
