2024 Peony King

2024 King White Peony is made from first spring buds, known for their richness in amino acids and clear sweetness. The buds are thick and straight with dense silver hairs, forming a classic “one flag, one spear” appearance — the hallmark of high-grade Mu Dan Wang.

The dry aroma is bright and floral, like fresh spring peony with a hint of creamy soybean sweetness. When brewed, the liquor turns pale apricot-gold, soft and elegant. Compared with aged versions, the 2024 vintage is fresher, greener in tone, and more uplifting, with lively sweetness and rapid salivation.

On the palate, it is silky, clean, and nectar-like, without bitterness. The fragrance rises delicately, with floral honey lingering in the throat and a refreshing cool sensation upon exhale.
